Football Adds Five During February Signing Period

Fitzpatrick signs one wide receiver, four defenders to class of 2030

HAMILTON – Colgate University Fred '50 and Marilyn Dunlap Head Football Coach Curt Fitzpatrick announced five more additions to the team during the February Signing Day period.

The five newcomers consist of one wide receiver and four defensemen – two defensive backs and two linebackers – hailing from four different states. Dawson Batemon, Josh Faraimo, Nathan Judy, Anthony Pignatello, and Austin Teasley join Colgate's incoming class that featured 20 signees back in December. With the addition of three sophomore transfers, the Raiders now have 28 newcomers added to the program for the 2026 season.

"We're excited to welcome this group to Colgate Football as part of our Class of 2030," Fitzpatrick said. "Each of these young men brings toughness, versatility, and a strong commitment to excellence both academically and athletically. They come from winning programs, they're leaders in their schools and communities, and they fit exactly what we look for in our program. This February class adds quality depth on defense and another dynamic playmaker on offense, and we're looking forward to their impact this fall and beyond."
