Raiders of the Week: Samuel Epstein and Melinda Haagensen

Samuel Epstein broke the Colgate program record for men's pole vault at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. He recorded a 4.90m jump and took home gold in the event. Epstein broke his own record of 4.75m, which he completed at the Suffolk Ice Breaker, a preseason meet earlier this year.

Melinda Haagensen took home gold at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, clearing 4.05 meters in the pole vault to secure the top spot on the podium. The mark surpassed her previous personal record of 3.72m, set last season at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships. It also marked the seventh first-place finish of her outdoor career in the event.
