HOW IT HAPPENED
Colgate opened the game with an 11-0 run, fueled by Wright's eight early points, while holding Bucknell scoreless on its first nine attempts.
The Bison briefly responded with a 10-1 spurt to pull within two midway through the first half, but the Raiders quickly regained control behind a four-point play from Cummins and a personal 7-0 run by Cox. A late Alekseyenko 3-pointer sent Colgate into halftime ahead 43-32.
The Raiders carried that momentum into the second half, opening with a 9-0 burst highlighted by a Tweedy triple. Back-to-back 3s from Alekseyenko stretched the lead to 66-39, and Colgate continued to build its advantage behind efficient shooting and balanced contributions.
Cooper Wright provided a spark off the bench with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting, helping Colgate push the margin to a game-high 30 points.Â
Josh Ahayere capped off the hot shooting night with his first trey in the final minute and Colgate cruised to its second consecutive win, 95-76.
