HAMILTON – The Colgate men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to compete in the Patriot League Championships Wednesday, Feb. 19, through Saturday, Feb. 22, at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg, Pa. 

Colgate is looking to continue building off the spring momentum which featured back-to-back wins over Holy Cross and St. Bonaventure on the women's side along with multiple first-place finishes and personal-best times for the men's program. 

The women enter the championships riding back-to-back wins to reach five victories for the second consecutive year after securing their first winning season since 2017-18 a year ago at 5-3. For the men, wins over Le Moyne and Hamilton headline Colgate's 2-8 record heading into the Patriot League championships. 

Last year's championship saw the women place seventh with 573 points, anchored by Lucy Art who captured a third-place finish in the 100 Free to become the program's first podium finisher since 2014. The men, meanwhile, scored 339 points during last year's championships, a significant improvement from their 107.5 points scored from the previous campaign. 

Patriot League Championship Schedule
The four-day event begins Wednesday with the women's three-meter diving trails at 1 p.m. The swimming events open Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the women's 200-yard medley relay final. Preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. and the finals will swim at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The remaining diving trails will be contested on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 1 p.m.
