Men’s Swim & Dive Breaks Another Record on Day 2

400 Medley Relay Highlights Colgate’s Day 2 Success

LEWISBURG, Pa. –  The Colgate men's swimming and diving team saw another program record fall on Day 2 of the Patriot League championship, with the 400 Medley Relay team setting a new program pace inside Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The 400 Medley Relay team of Jack Schurtz-Ford, Henry Newhall, JD Suarez, and Michael Granin set a new program pace with a time of 3:18.77, besting the previous record book time of 3:19.02 set last season, which included Schurtz-Ford and Suarez. 
  • Schurtz-Ford earned a spot in the C Final of the 50 Yard Free. He finished second in the C Final and 18th overall with a time of 20.48 seconds. 

UP NEXT
Colgate is back in action for Day 3 of the Patriot League championship on Friday, with preliminaries starting at 10 a.m.
