BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Colgate volleyball team earned three First Team All-Patriot League selections. Milan Bayless is now a two-time First Team All-Team honoree, while Maddie Rudolph earns her first-time selection. Tiana Owens, a former Second Team selection, claimed a spot on the 2025 First-Team.
Bayless, an offensive powerhouse, has led both the team and the Patriot League in kills and points. Her 415 kills rank eighth in the program record book, while her 1,164 total attempts place her third–and counting. The junior has accumulated up 478 points, averaging 4.55 per set. Showcasing her versatility, Bayless contributed eight assists and 20 service aces. Defensively, she ranks third on the team with 75 total blocks and has added 186 digs.
Owens, one of Colgate's offensive threats, captured her first First-Team selection this season. The sophomore recorded 284 kills, ranking her seventh in the league, and collected 315.5 points, which ranks her eighth in the conference. Owens averages 3.12 kills and 3.47 points per set. In the Raiders' final regular season win over Navy, Owens recorded career highs in kills (23) and points (25). On the defensive end, Owens posted 130 digs and added 24 total blocks.
A force to be reckoned with, Rudolph has been a defensive staple for the Raiders at the net. She leads both the team and conference with 124 total blocks and tied for eighth in the program record book. The senior has totaled 16 solo blocks and 108 block assists, averaging 1.20 blocks per set. Rudolph has accrued 248 points this season through her contributions on both ends of the court. She leads the team with 23 service aces and added 155 kills. The middle blocker averages 2.41 points per set, the third-highest mark on the team.
The team will gear up as the Patriot League playoffs begin this week in Washington, D.C. Colgate finished as the No. 2 seed and obtained a first-round bye. The Raiders will face the highest remaining seed on Friday at 3 p.m. in Bender Arena.
