The Raiders have added transfer Hannah Langton to the team

HAMILTON — The Colgate volleyball program has added Hannah Langton, the sole transfer, to its roster for the upcoming 2026 spring season.

Langton is a sophomore who just completed her second season at Central Michigan University. The 5-9 Sophomore comes from Kingston, Ill. and will join the program as a libero/defensive specialist.

"We are very excited to add a player with Hannah's level of experience to our backrow," said head coach Ryan Baker. "She has played in a lot of matches for a competitive program so she knows what it takes. Hannah is a very good passer because of her calm and steady platform and presence. Michelle [Meehan] will elevate her game even more. We are excited for her to join our team this spring."

In her 2025 sophomore season, Langton played in 27 matches and saw action in 87 sets, while making one start for the Chippewas. Langton registered 159 digs, garnered eight points from service aces, and contributed 29 assists.

In her 2024 first-year season, Langton played in all 31 matches while seeing action in 126 sets. The libero was selected to the MAC All-Freshman Team and named MAC Defensive Player of the Week (9/3). In her first year, she recorded 522 digs, tying eighth best in program history. Langton totaled 20 or more digs in nine matches. Aside from digs, Langton recorded five kills, 118 assists, 32 service aces, and 37 points.
