HOW IT HAPPENED
Colgate forced turnovers on Siena's first three trips down to the court. Cox notched two back-to-back steals, and the team forced a shot-clock violation.

Siena scored 11 straight points to take a seven point lead, 11–4, before Alekseyenko drew a foul and trip to the free-throw line to sink both shots.

Odetoyinbo blocked back-to-back Saints shots to keep Siena from extending its three-point lead, 15–12. Sam Wright regained the lead for Colgate with eight minutes to go left in the half on a driving layup, making it 16–15.

Cox went up for a shot and missed, but Alekeyenko grabbed the offensive rebound and set up Brady Cummins for a driving layup to push the lead, 20–17.

Cox was fouled in transition and hit both free throws to give Colgate a two-point halftime lead, 30–28. In the first half alone, there were seven lead changes as Colgate and Siena traded momentum.

In an intense second half, seven additional lead changes occurred within the first five minutes. Three Raiders contributed points to help keep Colgate within one, 39–38.

The Saints maintained a three-point edge before Odetoyinbo tied the game at 45 on a free throw and tip-in layup.

Colgate built its largest lead of the game 60–54, after a scoring run with six minutes remaining that included two-point contributions from S. Wright, Cox, and Kyle Carlesimo

Colgate maintained a small lead as Cox scored six points in a one-minute span. The Saints tied the game up at 69 on an inbound play, leaving the Raiders with 2.7 seconds left on the clock.
