Raiders compete in Bethlehem

BETHLEHAM, Pa. — The Colgate women's tennis team finished up their fall season at the Patriot League Individual Championships. Each team from the Patriot League sends two singles representatives and one doubles team to compete. The Raider's representatives were senior captain Amelia Galin and sophomore Rebecca Hess

In singles action, Galin fell 2-6, 2-6 to Navy in the Round of 16. Hess also was defeated, by a score of 2-6, 0-6 to Army. The two Raiders then teamed up against Lehigh in the quarterfinals of doubles, where they fell 3-8.

COACH PROHASKA'S COMMENTS
"Some good lessons learned against some excellent competition at Lehigh. Amelia and Rebecca have had a great fall and should keep their heads held high. Now wrapping up the fall season, it was fun to watch this group work and grow together. A lot of work is left for us as we close out the semester, but this is a hungry group who is ready for it."
