ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Robbie Herzig's steady 1-over 72 gave him a three-round 8-over 221 total and placed him 28th individually, while Colgate finished in 12th as a team at The Goat hosted by Navy on Sunday afternoon.Â
Herzig responded from his opening-round 8-over 79 with back-to-back solid cards. He turned in a 1-under 70 in Round 2 capped off by his 1-over 72 on Sunday. The senior has now led Colgate on the individual leaderboard in each of the team's first two fall competitions.Â
Alex Hill carded an 8-over 79 on Sunday to finish with a three-day total of 222 (+9), good for 33rd place. Jamison Bryant matched Herzig for Colgate's best Sunday round, finishing 1-over 72 for a three-day total of 224 (+11) in 39th place.Â
Brayden Dock and Leo Li rounded out Colgate's scoring contingent with 67th place finishes at 232 (+19).Â
Eighty-four golfers from 15 teams competed in this weekend's The Goat hosted at the par-71, 7,025-yard Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md.Â
Colgate finished with a three-day scorecard of 303-292-301=896 (+44). Pacific held on for the wire-to-wire victory with a team total of 1-under for the tournament.Â
