GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Colgate Golf team completed three rounds of competition at the Wildcat Spring Invitational, hosted by Villanova, over Monday and Tuesday at the par-71 Galloway National Golf Club.

COACH KIRCHER'S COMMENTS

"Overall, we faced some challenges this week, but I'm proud of the way the team responded and continued to make good strides. This was a valuable test for us, and now our focus shifts to preparing for the Patriot League Championship in just over two weeks in West Point."

HOW IT HAPPENED

For the second consecutive week, the Raiders were led by Ronav Benak, who paced the squad with a 13-over-par finish across the 54-hole event (76-78-72). Benak saved the best for last to climb 26 spots and finish inside the top 15 of a competitive Division I field of 72 golfers across 12 teams.

Brayden Dock followed closely behind, turning in a 15-over performance highlighted by a steady final round (78-74-76). Dock's play helped anchor the Colgate lineup as the Raiders battled challenging coastal conditions.

Leo Li added a 24-over showing for Colgate (76-78-83), one stroke ahead of his teammate Alex Hill who closed at 25-over (81-75-82).

Rounding out the Raiders' lineup, Jayden Freedman posted a 27-over total across three rounds (82-78-80). Competing as an individual, Chad Ruggiero represented Colgate and completed the tournament at 37-over.

Colgate finished 10th as a team with a 311-305-310=926 (+74) aggregate score, four strokes behind Patriot League foe Loyola. Host Villanova took the team crown with an 882 team score (+30), followed by Georgetown (+32) and Navy (+44).
