MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Anna Lochhead scored the overtime winner to give the Raiders a 2-1 victory over Central Michigan Friday afternoon.

The junior wasted no time, finding the back of the cage 16 seconds into the extra period. Grace Schmelzinger dribbled into the penalty circle and fed a pass to Lochhead, who tapped it into the goal from right in front for her third of the season.
Hannah Marcotrigiano tied the game at 1-1 with 11:49 left in the fourth. She dribbled along the baseline and into the penalty circle before sneaking a shot past the goalie.
The Chippewas scored first when Mallory Camryn fired one home off of a pass from Cosima Perleth with 6:57 to go in the first.
The Raiders held CMU scoreless for the final two quarters. Claire van Kempen stopped a combined six shots in the 30 minutes and finished with nine saves in the game.
In the fourth, Colgate outshot Central Michigan 6-4. Marcotrigiano had an opportunity for a second goal when she fired one at the 6:24 mark that got stopped by the goalie. The Raiders also had a corner with four and a half minutes remaining, from which Abby Williams took a shot that got saved. With less than three minutes left, Charlotte Hamilton took a rip that landed wide.
Colgate had a chance early in the third, earning a penalty corner less than a minute in, but it could not capitalize. Schmelzinger found herself with an opportunity right in front with 10:40 left, but she got denied by the keeper. van Kempen made two big saves to turn down the Chippewas, including one following a penalty corner.
The Raiders recorded one shot during the second when Lily Schoonmaker took a rip, but it got blocked. CMU had two corners that the Raiders' fended off, including a big save from van Kempen on the initial.
In the first, Colgate earned a corner with 5:39 left, and Hamilton fired a shot that went wide. Maddie Rohlfing also had a chance with 32 seconds remaining, but her attempt got blocked.
