HAMILTON – Colgate athletics placed a program-record 413 total student-athletes on the 2023-24 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll after the league announced 264 honorees were named to the winter/spring honor roll on Wednesday.

Colgate's 413 total Patriot League honor roll members broke the department's previous record of 350, which had been met in each of the last two years, and ranked fifth among Patriot League institutions. 

For the winter/spring honor roll, men's lacrosse's 45 honorees led all Colgate programs, followed by men's track and field (37), women's rowing (33), and women's swimming and diving (30). Men's tennis led its Patriot League peers with 11 selections.

Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their League champion is crowned.
