CALGARY, Alberta – Danielle Serdachny has been named to Canada's National Women's Team for the IIHF World Championships, scheduled to take place in Utica, N.Y., this April. It marks the Colgate captain's second consecutive year suiting up for Team Canada at the Women's World Championships.

In 2023, Serdachny appeared in seven games and won a silver medal at the Women's Worlds in Brampton, Ontario. She finished the tournament with a +2 rating and contributed an assist in Canada's 5-0 win against Japan in the group stage.

Serdachny most recently suited up for Team Canada in December at the Rivalry Series, where she scored two goals in two games for the Canadiens. In last year's Rivalry Series, which marked Serdachny's national team debut, she netted the overtime winner for Team Canada.

A trio of Raiders may also suit up against Serdachny in Utica this spring, as Allyson Simpson, Sydney Bard, and Sydney Morrow were all invited to the U.S. National Women's Team Evaluation Camp, as announced by USA Hockey yesterday afternoon.
