HAMILTON – Colgate Volleyball dispatched a league unbeaten foe for the second consecutive weekend – this time knocking off Army 3-0 – for its 10th straight victory.
With the win, the Raiders take control of first place in the early Patriot League standings with their 31st consecutive home victory dating back to September 2021. Colgate now holds a one-match lead over Army and Navy – two of the latest opponents to fall at Cotterell Court.
"I'm extremely proud of our defensive effort tonight," said head coach Ryan Baker after the program's third straight sweep. "We made some very good digs and block touches against a high powered Army team. Our depth is special and it showed up again today. The crowd was great and gave us great energy. We look forward to playing at home again tomorrow."
