HAMILTON – Colgate extended its winning streak to 11 matches with its fourth consecutive sweep after cruising past Holy Cross 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at Cotterell Court.
Gillian Hauschild racked up a team-best 13 kills and .500 hitting percentage. Carlie Rzeszotarski was also in double-figures with 11 kills to go with two service aces and four digs. Libby Overmyer shined offensively with nine kills and a team-leading .538 hitting clip. Colgate hit .368 as a team.
"Our offense was clicking today," said head coach Ryan Baker after the win. "We were able to generate a lot of kills against a scrappy Holy Cross team. We will get back to work this week and get ready for another tough slate of league matches."
