Softball’s Doubleheader Called Due to Weather

Colgate's doubleheader against Columbia and Sacramento State were canceled due to rain

FULLERTON, Calif. – Colgate Softball's first day in California was spoiled due to rain on Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders were supposed to face the Columbia lions and Sacramento State Hornets. Both games were delayed and then eventually called after the field flooded. The doubleheader will not be made up as Colgate moves upstate to Los Angeles to close the weekend.

UP NEXT
Colgate (6-12) heads to the City of Angels on Sunday, March 12, to play a pair of games against Brown and Loyola Marymount. The doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m. (ET) and 3:30 p.m. (ET).
