PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Top-five finishes from
Jordan Hurt,
Brooke Garretson, and the 200 medley relay paced the Colgate women's swimming and diving team on Day 2 of the Bruno Invite Saturday afternoon at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center hosted by Brown.
Hurt's top five came in the A final of the 100 butterfly, securing a fourth-place time of 54.79, narrowly edging teammate Audrey Collins' sixth-place time of 55.55.
Garretson claimed fifth in the A final of the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:51.37.
Colgate's 200 medley relay team of Garretson, Regan Hau, Hurt, and Collins also captured a top-five finish, placing fourth with a time of 1:43.09. The squad bested their seeding time by more than a full second.
MG King continued their strong season with a sixth-place finish in the A final of the 400 IM, clocking in at 4:24.63.
Hau came away with a seventh-place finish in the 100 breaststroke A final (1:04.14).
