WEST POINT, N.Y. – Colgate men's tennis return to Hamilton after participating in the Army West Point Opening on Saturday and Sunday.
Head Coach
Bobby Pennington hit 300 career men's matches Sunday against The University of North Dakota. "Very surreal and incomprehensible I've reached 300 matches coached for the men. I am beyond proud to have a winning record overall. This is a testament to our players and their loyalty and dedication to our brand and unique culture" said coach Pennington.
Pennington continued "A special shout-out to my loyal supervisor
Jamie Mitchell and assistants
Jake Sandler and
Rob Israel and our Racquetbuster nation. I also wouldn't be here without the support of my wife Jenny and kids Mia, Cliff, and Parker. Hopefully, 300 more ahead, Go Gate."

FROM THE SOURCE
Head Coach Bobby Pennington
"A very challenging high-level weekend against some elite teams for the boys. I thought they deserved better as we battled Army and North Dakota to the end and they are two elite five-star programs.
"We got off to a slow start against a much improved Rider team, but it was too little too late, this was a match we should and needed to win. Highlights of the weekend were winning all three matches at 6 singles with Gupta and Weitz and Caldwell and Fazli winning both at 3 dubs. Also,
Aidan Lee won two singles matches. Moving forward, we need to win the doubles point at the top. Things will not get easier as it's my most challenging schedule in 17 yrs."
