HAMILTON – After Colgate Volleyball's historic win over Tennessee,
Julia Kurowski has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week, announced Tuesday afternoon by the conference office.
Kurowski was a standout performer in Colgate's 2-1 weekend at NC State, which included a 3-0 sweep of Elon and an impressive 3-1 victory over Tennessee – the Raiders' first-ever win over an SEC opponent. She averaged 5.11 assists, 2.22 digs, and 1.33 kills per set in three matches.
With 46 assists on the week, Kurowski moved into second in the Colgate record books in career assists with 3,627. She posted her third double-double of the season in the win over Tennessee, racking up 21 assists and 10 digs – both team-high marks – while also tallying eight kills.
Kurowski and the Raiders return to Hamilton for the first time in 2022 when they host Niagara Wednesday night at 7 p.m. There will be a banner unveiling to celebrate last year's Patriot League championship team prior to the match, which can be streamed live on ESPN+.
