Head Coach Lyndse Hokanson

"Today we met the reigning champions playing on their home field and on the road for the first time in a few weeks and they were shot out of a cannon in the first half. We didn't manage what they were doing well and saw the result after 45 minutes. Fair play to our group, we responded well and had a much better second half, but a reminder that you can't give teams in our league a half before matching physicality and effort and expect to come away with a result. It's been a long, tough stretch of games for us over the last two weeks, and I think we've learned a lot through it and have come out the other side better for it. We'll welcome a full week of training to prepare for another tough matchup on the road at Navy on Friday."
