HAMILTON – Colgate Head Softball Coach 
Marissa Lamison-Myers completes her coaching staff with the addition of 
Morgan Edmondson as an assistant coach.
 
Edmondson most recently served as an assistant coach at Saint Anselm College. Edmondson served the Saint Anselm campus community as an Admission Recruiter during her year in Manchester.
 
"I would like to thank Marissa, Matt, and the athletics administration at Colgate for the opportunity to join the softball program," Edmondson said. "I am extremely excited to be a part of the Colgate family and cannot wait to hit the ground running and get to work with our amazing staff and student-athletes."  
 
Before her time at Saint Anselm, Edmondson spent time at Seton Hall University as a volunteer assistant coach. During her two years with the Pirates, Edmondson worked with the catchers, offense, and the operational aspects of the team.
 
"I am extremely excited to welcome Morgan to Colgate," Lamison-Myers said. "Her experience coaching and playing will add tremendous value to our team."
 
An outstanding member of the Le Moyne College softball team, Edmondson is the all-time record-holder for runners caught stealing (25).
 
Edmondson earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012 from Le Moyne and her Master of Science in Sport Psychology in 2015 from Seton Hall.
