WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Colgate men's tennis team fell to Boston University 4-1 at the Central PA Tennis Center Saturday afternoon.
Tejas Gupta and Benito Vlassis earned a victory for the Raiders at No. 3 doubles for the second day in a row, but the Terriers claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.
Boston recorded wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles to clinch the match. Nate Romig put Colgate on the board with his 6-1, 6-3 victory over Johann Sajonz at the No. 5 spot.

Head Coach Bobby Pennington
"That's by far the most disappointed I've been all season. I simply think we are a better team and didn't show or prove it in key moments. We won No. 3 doubles quickly and had big leads at 1 and 2 doubles that slipped away. In singles the stage was set with Romig winning fast, Potter about to win, Thomas coming back about to win second, and Gupta with a set point. It's been a brutal week losing to our three main rivals and we look to regroup against Lafayette."
