"If you watched our season, we've had five close games, within one or two goals. In the course of a year, that's a lot of one-goal games not to win. We did not win those, but this one we did. It's such a massive win because we need to win to get into the Patriot League Tournament. To do it in a 1-goal fashion, we finally got over that hump. We finally got over the edge. We were right there for four games, and we finally had a chance to finish the game and close it out. That to me was a special moment.
"We finally put together all the components of our game — offense, defense, riding and clearing, our goalie was excellent, our face-off guys were excellent. We finally put together a complete game."
