WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Facing another fierce Patriot League foe, the Colgate men's tennis team lost a hard-fought 5-2 decision to Bucknell Friday evening at the Central PA Tennis Center. 

The Raiders started off strong by taking the doubles point thanks to wins at No. 2 and No. 3. 

The Bison recorded straight set wins at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6, but the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 singles points were decided by closely contested third set matches, all of them going Bucknell's way.

"That was a heartbreaker today and very difficult to process and swallow. We played another phenomenal doubles point, had three singles matches go the distance, and came up short. Gameball to Gupta for winning both his matches. The league keeps improving every year as has Bucknell with an outstanding No. 1. We have to prepare quickly for Boston tomorrow."
