LEWISBURG, Pa. – Colgate Men's Soccer hit the road for a Saturday, Oct. 22 Patriot League matchup against Bucknell. After scoring midway through the first half, the Raiders ended in a draw against the Bison.
Timmy Donovan scored his third goal of the season in the 31st minute, bringing the Raiders lead to 1-0 at halftime. Donovons goal came in the 31st minute, headed one past the keeper off a corner from
Bobby Foose.
Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week
Andrew Cooke recorded five saves in tonight's 1-1 draw, bringing his season record to 4-2-6. Cooke came up big in the second half, stopping back-to-back shots to keep the game tied at one a piece.
Bobby Foose collected his third assist of the season off Donovon's first half goal. Foose has six assists in his career.
Colgate recorded three shots on goal and eight in total.
Simon Hall found an opportunity in the 20th minute, headed a shot towards the net, forcing the Bison keeper to make the save.
Alejandro Coury registered a shot on goal in the 72nd minute almost breaking the 1-1 tie.
Nick Steed found an opening in the 78th minute but sailed the ball just wide of the net, both teams shared possession of the ball until the final horn, ending in a 1-1 draw.
