ITHACA, N.Y. – Colgate Men's Cross Country hit the road Friday, Oct. 21 for a meet hosted by Cornell, participating schools were Cortland, Syracuse, Cornell, and Colgate. The Raiders raced six freshmen in the 5k race.

Jehrard Aguilar finished first for the Raiders, crossing the line with a time of 17:02.02, coming across the line 21st overall.

Andrew Sullivan and Sebastian Bohn rounded out the top three for the Raiders, finishing in times of 17:25.9 and 17:33.7. 

The final three racers for Colgate were Zach Lightfoot finishing with a time of 18:15.1, Vincent Ryan with a time of 18:38.9, and Malcolm Kron with a time of 18:54.7.

"The freshman men had a chance to end their season on a great day for running. Under blue skies and perfect weather, Jehrard  Aquilar led the Raiders with his 21st place finish on Cornell's golf course. 

"Andrew Sullivan and Sebastian Bohn rounded out the top three. It was a great way to have the freshman close out their first year of collegiate cross country running. I look forward to watching them continue to get better as we roll into track season."

The Raiders shift their focus to the Patriot League Championship in Lewisburg, Pa. next weekend on Saturday, Oct. 29. The women are set to race at 10:00 a.m. with the men to follow at 10:45 a.m.
