Atallah Named MVP

Women’s Tennis Hosted Inaugural Colgate Invitational

HAMILTON – Colgate women's tennis returned home for the inaugural Colgate Invitational Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16 to finish off their fall season. The Colgate Invitational played host to Siena, Marist, and Hamilton.

Katerina Atallah finished the Invitational as MVP, going 5-1 in a slew of competitive matches. 

The Raiders went 23-13 on the weekend, ending the fall season on a high note. 

"Overall our first ever women's invite was a tremendous success and a hit. We did extremely well against Marist and Hamilton and battled Siena closely," said Head Coach Bobby Pennington

"Katerina Atallah was the MVP going 5-1 on the weekend. The ladies had a very productive and successful fall, competing in four quality invites.

"We now hit the off-season and recover. Since the 2019-20 season the women just keep getting stronger and stronger as we look forward to another winning season in the spring, and look to make noise in the league."

The Raiders take the next few months off to gear up for their championship season, looking to continue their strong fall into the spring.
