FROM THE SOURCE
Head Coach Erik Ronning
"I am proud of the effort put forth throughout the contest and pleased with our execution. The collective confidence of the group grew throughout the game, created a number of quality chances in the second half but were unlucky to not score another. I was disappointed in the goals we conceded, but we always responded well.
"Overall, we took another step forward today and quite frankly, the result was harsh, and our guys deserved better. Our continuity as a group was improved, we were composed on the ball and defended well, particularly in the second half. Further, the guys displayed a high level of trust in one another which led to a quality performance.
"Super disappointed with the loss but pleased with the performance. This young group continues to fight, work, stick together and improve. The experiences we are having will make this program stronger and lead to future success."
