HAMILTON, N.Y.— The Colgate men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Lehigh in its season finale on Wednesday evening.
The Raiders' first chance came in the 13th minute when
Bobby Foose ripped a shot from outside the box that was an easy save for the Mountain Hawks goalkeeper.
In the 37th minute, Foose played a ball over the top to
Alejandro Coury who couldn't get a shot off when the ball came loose from the keeper's hands.
The Mountain Hawks struck early in the second when Austen Carranza played a cross to Jack Sarkos who put it in the top left side of the goal.
Toby Goldner had a chance to equalize in the 75th minute when he collected the ball in the box off a corner kick and ripped a shot that forced the goalkeeper to make a diving save.
The Raiders had three other corner kicks in the second for a total of five in the half and seven in the game
Colgate also had two free kicks in the last minute but could not convert on either opportunity.
