BINGHAMTON, N.Y.— The Colgate men's and women's swim & dive teams competed in their first dual meet of the year on Friday, going up against Binghamton on the road.
In the women's meet,
Nora Bergstrom took home two first-place finishes in the 1,000 freestyle (10:42.60) and the 200 backstroke (2:10.48).
The Raiders also went 1-2 in the 200 butterfly with
Zoe Stokes taking first (2:11.16) and
Emma Senglaub finishing after her (2:12.55).
Stokes also placed first in the 500 free (5:15.25).
Jordan Hurt finished first in the 100 butterfly (58.20) and second in the 50 free (25.25).
Additionally, Colgate's 200 freestyle relay team of Hurt,
Dana Witte,
Elke Ambach, and
Stephanie Bishop took second place (1:41.26).
The men were led by
Ryan Blumenfeld who took first in the 200 butterfly (1:57.91) and second in the 400 IM (4:19.15).
Emmet Santry took second in the 500 free (4:54.75) and
Peyton Wray earned third in the 200 breaststroke (2:03.4).
Finally,
Cooper Luedde touched in fourth in the 100 freestyle (49.74).
