CLIFTON PARK, N.Y.— Colgate women's hockey freshman Katie Chan was tabbed ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Chan recorded an assist in the Raiders 7-1 win over Syracuse on Thursday. She then notched a goal and an assist in Colgate's second game against the Orange, en route to a 5-2 victory on Saturday.
The Richmond, British Columbia native how has nine points on the season with two goals and seven assists.
The Raiders remained third in this week's USCHO national rankings. Colgate welcomes fifth-ranked Minnesota this weekend for a pair of games. Opening face off is 2 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday.
