ALBANY, N.Y. – After earning a 3-2 win and a 2-2 tie against then-No. 7 Clarkson, two from the Colgate women's hockey program have been recognized in the ECAC Hockey Three Stars of the Week.
For her efforts, junior forward
Noemi Neubauerova has been named First Star of the Week, while first-year goaltender
Kayle Osborne earned Second Star of the Week.
Noemi Neubauerova – ECAC Hockey First Star of the Week
In the pair of Clarkson matchups, Neubauerova recorded three points by one goal and two assists. She posted a multi-point performance in the 3-2 win on Thursday, before garnering an assist in the 2-2 tie on Saturday. With her efforts, Neubauerova is currently on a three-game active point streak.
Kayle Osborne – ECAC Hockey Second Star of the Week
Between the pipes, Osborne totaled 36 saves on 40 shots faced in the week's two top-10 matchups. The Westport, Ontario, native lifted Colgate to a 3-2 win behind 21 saves on Thursday and was steady through 65:00 of action in a 2-2 tie with 15 saves. Osborne held the tie for the Raiders by including three key saves in the overtime session.
