On a day when eight seniors would compete in their final race at Lineberry Natatorium, Colgate picked up its first Patriot League victory of the season.
Senior
Lauren deTorres went out in style. She won the 200 Yard Freestyle, 50 Yard Freestyle and the 200 Yard Breaststroke for good measure. deTorres also contributed to a relay win to seal the victory for the Raiders.

Lindsay Criqui,
Madison Sullivan, and deTorres teamed up to win the 400 Yard Medley Relay.
Seniors
Carolyn Silverman and
Kiersten Daly also claimed victories on their special day, winning the 100 Yard Backstroke and 100 Yard Breaststroke respectively. Daly also edged out teammate
Katie Hand for a victory in the 400 Yard Individual Medley. Hand saw her time to shine when the took a thrilling victory in the 200 Yard Butterfly.Â
In the diving portion,
Caroline LaPlante and
Sydney Dutton cleaned up the competition placing first and second in both the one-meter and three-meter events.Â
After tallying the scores, Colgate won the meet by a score of 178-119.

- "The coaching staff was extremely pleased with both teams' performances yesterday, especially after another week of hard training. The women's team had the best overall team performance of the season and are starting to come together as a team and find their identity."

Colgate travels to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the Patriot League Championship from Feb. 19-22.
