Robinson lettered three years in football, '82, '83, and '84. A two-year starter for the Raiders, he recorded 86 tackles and three interceptions, including two during his stellar senior season. Robinson played on two Division I-AA playoff teams at Colgate before moving on to have a 16-year professional career in the National Football League (NFL). He played 11 seasons (1985-95) for the Seattle Seahawks, where he was twice named to the Pro Bowl (1992, 993). Robinson also earned the prestigious Seattle Man of the Year award in 1991, 1992, and 1995. After the 1995 season, Robinson continued his success in Green Bay, where he helped lead the Packers to back-to-back Super Bowls and a championship in 1996. He made his third straight Super Bowl with the Atlanta Falcons in 1998 before finishing his NFL career in 2000 with the Carolina Panthers. In 16 seasons, Robinson made 1,415 tackles, 57 interceptions and 22 fumble recoveries. His 16-year NFL career is the longest professional tenure in program history.
