Buy Season Tickets
Â
HAMILTON – With already fewer than 100 days until Colgate Football kicks off its 2019 season, the time has never been more right to purchase season tickets.
Â
This year's season packages, which go on sale Tuesday, include tickets to all five home games and benefits that total more than $100 in value. The home opener against Villanova is set for Aug. 24.
Â
Among the benefits are one complimentary game day program per season ticket at each home game, one flex pass per season ticket good for complimentary general admission to two home men's and women's basketball games and two men's ice hockey games, and an invitation to the Preseason BBQ with the team and coaching staff in August.
Â
Season ticket holders also get priority status for purchasing tickets to Colgate road games and NCAA playoff games.

Â
Colgate is coming off consecutive Patriot League championships and three in the last four years, pushing the program's overall total to 10. In addition, the Raiders last year advanced to the NCAA playoff quarterfinals for the second time in the last four seasons.

Fans Make the Difference
Included in that playoff run was the thrilling 23-20 NCAA Second Round victory over James Madison, decided on the last play of the game by a 38-yard field goal from
Chris Puzzi.
Â
"We had a great taste last year of how energy-filled our games can be," Raiders head coach
Dan Hunt said. "The Bicentennial Kickoff game, the playoff game and the opener were all great environments.
Â
"Football is a momentum and energy game, and the home crowd goes a long way in helping with both."
Â
In addition to that early kickoff against Villanova, the Raiders stay in the ultra-competitive Colonial Athletic Association for their next home game Sept. 21 against Maine. The Black Bears advanced one stage farther than Colgate last season, making it to the NCAA semifinals.
Â
Colgate's Patriot League home foes this year are Lehigh, Bucknell and Fordham.
Â
"Our expectations are the same every year – to get better every day and to put ourselves in position to win the Patriot League and get to the NCAA playoffs," Hunt said. "Our players have established that as our goal, and to prove that we can consistently have playoff success.
Â
"We have recruited a strong class of freshmen who will come in and continue the culture of hard work and process that leads to the outcomes we desire. We had a good spring practice season to get our depth chart set as we go into fall camp."
