Box Score BETHPAGE, N.Y.—MacKenzie Deeter finished off a 2-0 weekend in singles play Sunday at Sportime Bethpage in a 6-1 setback for the Colgate Women's Tennis team against Hofstra.
The sophomore was victorious at number one singles for the second consecutive day when she topped her opponent by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
No other singles matches went the maximum three sets, but
Elinor Simek ended up playing just one set, which was a barnburner, as she fell 8-6.
Deeter and
Jordan Williams also teamed up at number one doubles and nearly escaped with a victory, but fell 7-6.
