BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Vicky Martinez (Mount Kisco, New York) won the 1,500-Meter Race Saturday afternoon to lead the Colgate women's track and field team at the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Moravian College.
 
Martinez competed in the 1,500-Meter Race for the first time in her career and picked up the first-place finish in the 19-athlete race.
 
Skyler Berardi (Glen Mills, Pennsylvania) recorded a personal record in the 1,500-Meter Race as well, her third consecutive invitational with a personal record.
 
TOP PERFORMERS
-Martinez picked up a first-place finish in her first career 1,500-Meter Race with her time of 4:48.66
-Berardi came in second just behind Martinez in 4:51.18 to set a personal record by more than eight seconds
-Breanne Wilson-Bennett (Markham, Ontario) was fifth in the javelin with a throw of 38.02 meters to set a personal record in her second invite
-Lexi Walsh finished sixth in her first 5,000-Meter Race with a time of 19:24.20
-Maggie Cusick (San Jose, California) had a long jump of 5.24 meters to finish seventh and was ninth in the triple jump at 10.07 meters
-Carly Schwartz (Armonk, New York) recorded a 10th-place finish in the 400-Meter Dash in 1:01.81
-Hunter Filer (Victor, New York) was 10th in the pole vault with her height of 2.90 meters
