HISTORIC SEASON
The Raiders have already accomplished several key feats this season:
- Program-record 19 wins
- 13 home wins ties program record and marks the most in 91 years (1926-27)
- First Patriot League Championship game appearance since 2008
- 17 regular-season wins and 12 Patriot League wins both tie program records
- Current five-game win streak is the team's longest in 10 years. The 2007-08 team went on a six-game run from Feb. 20-March 9, 2008.
Â
HOW THEY GOT HERE
The Raiders are making their first Patriot League Championship game appearance since 2008 thanks to Patriot League Tournament wins over Lafayette and Holy Cross. Colgate set a program record with its 19th win of the season by earning a 62-55 victory over Holy Cross in the Patriot League Semifinals Sunday. Colgate broke a 48-48 tie with a 14-7 game-closing run to defeat the Crusaders. Sophomore
Will Rayman turned out a monster performance with 22 points, seven rebounds, three blocks and three steals to lead the way against Holy Cross. The Raiders used a dominant team effort to take down seventh-seeded Lafayette 76-54 on March 1 in the Patriot League Quarterfinals. Senior
Sean O'Brien led the Raiders with a game-high 18 points. Colgate secured the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Tournament thanks to a 12-6 league record. The second-place result is Colgate's best since the 2014-15 squad also finished second, and tied for the highest finish since the 1995-96 team won the regular-season title. The Raiders tied all-time program records with 17 regular-season (17-12) wins and 12 Patriot League (12-6) victories, and Colgate has clinched its first overall winning season in 10 years. Colgate's 19 wins this season bests the previous school record of 18 set by the 2007-08 and 1992-93 teams.

PLAYOFF PUSH
Colgate is on the hunt for its third Patriot League Championship and first since 1996. Colgate is 2-3 all-time when playing Bucknell in the Patriot League Tournament, and 0-1 when playing the Bison in Lewisburg, Pa. This will be the first time that the Bison and Raiders have met in the final, and the first time they have met in any postseason round since 2008 when Colgate won in the semifinals in Hamilton, N.Y.

AGAINST THE BISON
Bucknell came out on the winning end of both regular-season meetings between the Bison and the Raiders this season. The teams most recently met on Feb. 12 in Lewisburg, Pa. Bucknell's Kimbal Mackenzie hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to cement a 14-3 game-closing run and hand the Raiders a 65-64 defeat. Colgate held a 10-point lead with under a minute remaining, but the Bison rallied all the way back to complete the season sweep. The Bison used a strong second half to take the season's first meeting 63-51 in Hamilton, N.Y. on Jan. 15. Colgate held a two-point lead at the half, but finished the game with a season-low 27.1 field goal percentage as the poor shooting night doomed the Raiders. Senior
Sean O'Brien led Colgate against the Bison this season with 10.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in the two games combined. Sophomore
Will Rayman chipped in 9.0 points and 8.0 boards per game.Â
