HAMILTON, N.Y. – Fresh off the program's first-ever ECAC Hockey regular season championship, No. 4 Colgate begins the chase for its first-ever postseason conference title.
The Raiders take on Harvard in the quarterfinal round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs in a best-of-three series. The games are set for the Class of 1965 Arena.
Colgate finished the regular season with an overall mark of 29-4-1 and 19-3-0 in ECAC Hockey play. The Raiders earned a share of the regular season conference title with Clarkson. The Golden Knights won the tiebreaker for the No. 1 seed in the tournament based on comparison of results against top four teams in the conference.
Scouting Harvard
The Crimson finished their regular season slate with an overall mark of 13-14-2 and 10-10-2 in ECAC Hockey play, good for seventh place. The Crimson started off 8-4-1 but suffered a seven-game losing skid at the midway point of the season. They have since turned it around and enter the weekend having won four their last five. Freshman forward Becca Gilmore has emerged as a bright spot for the Crimson. Gilmore ranks second among first-year players in the conference in points with 32 (14 g, 18a), which leads the team. Kat Hughes is close behind with 26 (14g, 12a). Beth Larcom has seen the most action between the pipes. The sophomore has played 1420:24, posting a .909 save percentage and 2.79 goals allowed average.

The winner moves on to the ECAC Hockey championship weekend March 3-4. The host site is to be determined.
