HAMILTON – With the Colgate field hockey preseason just 19 days away, the Raiders would like to help you get to know the 13 members of the incoming freshman class a little better before practice begins and the team plays in its first game on August 25 at UMass Lowell.
All 13 players have taken their time to answer a few questions that will let the Colgate community know a little bit more about themselves.

I immediately felt at home.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
Getting to be part of a close-knit team.
What has been the most important accomplishment to you in your field hockey career?
Winning the Rhode Island Division 1 state championship my junior year.
Who is your role model?
My grandfather

Why did you choose Colgate?
The minute I stepped on campus I fell in love with Colgate!! The ability to play field hockey at a D1 level while getting an amazing education was huge for me. I also love that any student/athlete/alumni you meet is so proud to be a Raider.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
I am really excited to be apart of the team and to all push each other to be our best. When with the team, it seems to be a really cool environment where everyone is excited to set goals together and do everything we can to achieve them.
What has been the most important accomplishment to you in your field hockey career?
The most important accomplishment for me was being able to help my team win the 2017 Connecticut State Championship and be named the #1 team in Connecticut my senior year.
Who is your role model?
My role models are my 3 siblings: Case, Mariah and Holt.
