VESTAL, N.Y. – The Colgate men's basketball held an eight-point second half lead, but Binghamton quieted the Raider offense and closed the game on a 35-17 run en route to a 76-65 win Saturday afternoon.

Jordan Robertson as the Raiders strung together a 10-4 streak and pulled ahead 20-16 with 7:47 left in the term. The Bearcats were back within one after Willie Rodriguez' third three-pointer of the contest, but Burns went off for 11-straight Raider points before dishing an assist to fellow first-year
Jack Ferguson for a basket that stretched the Colgate lead to 33-21 with 4:08 on the clock.
The Bearcats tallied 13 of the half's final 20 points, but Colgate still carried a 40-34 lead into the locker room.

After a pair of Colgate free throws, Binghamton scored 13 straight to take the lead for the first time since the opening 10 minutes as the Bearcats pulled in front 67-58 with under two minutes to play.
