HAMILTON – Colgate begins its 2016 season Sunday at Michigan in just the second all-time meeting between these teams. The game takes place inside Oosterbaan Field House in a 1 p.m. start.
The Wolverines (0-1) opened last weekend with a 20-10 loss at top-10 North Carolina.
Colgate is coming off a season that saw the Raiders tie for the Patriot League regular season title, win the tournament championship and advance to the NCAA playoffs for the third time in school history. Colgate finished 14th in the final Cascade/Maverik Media Poll.

Mike Murphy is entering his fifth season at the Raider helm. Murphy has compiled a 41-24 (.631) overall record and 22-13 (.629) mark against Patriot League competition.
The Raiders begin their seven-game home slate Feb. 20 against Binghamton in a 1 p.m. start. Addition home games are against Bucknell on Feb. 27, a four-in-a-row stretch against Cornell (March 15), Fairfield (March 19), Army West Point (March 26) and Loyola (April 3), followed by Senior Day against Holy Cross on April 16.
This year's Patriot League tournament takes place from April 26 to May 1.

HERE. Colgate defeated Michigan 10-7 in 2013 in their only previous meeting. That game was played at New York's Citi Field as part of the Metropolitan Lacrosse Classic.
