Raiders Announce Incoming Class

Reigning Regular Season Champs Look to Stay Strong With Newcomers

Head women's soccer coach Kathy Brawn has announced her incoming class for the Fall of 2015.

Colgate's head women's soccer coach Kathy Brawn recently announced 12 newcomers to her strong returning roster for the fall of 2015.
 
"It is with great anticipation that I look forward to the arrival of the Class of 2019," Brawn said. "This group is filled with tremendous talent, a dedicated work ethic, and a distinct desire to excel in this competitive environment. I have no doubt that each will make her mark on the Raider women's soccer program and Colgate University."

Helping the Raiders this fall will be first-years from six different states, Australia and Canada. The reigning Patriot League regular season champions have brought in a mix of talent composed of three forwards, six midfielders, two defenders and one goalkeeper.
 
Colleen Brennan – Randolph, N.J., GK
  • Attended Villa Walsh Academy
  • Notched 305 saves and 25 shutouts in her career, with 73 saves and 14 shutouts coming in her senior season
  • Helped her team become 2012 Morris County Tournament Champions and New Jersey Non-public B State Champions in 2014
  • Set school record for season shutouts (13) and earned All-County MCGSCA, as well as All-Daily Record Girls Soccer First Team in 2012
  • Named NJ.com/Star Ledger All-State Girls Soccer Second Team, Girls Soccer All Non-Public Second Team, All-State New Jersey Soccer Girls Soccer Coaches Association, All-Daily Record Girls Soccer First Team, NJAC All-Academic Team and First Team All-Conference in 2014
 
Gianna Bustamante – Kearny, N.J., M
  • Attended Morristown Beard School
  • Was junior captain her sophomore year and held the position of team captain during her junior and senior seasons
  • Finished the all-time leading freshman scorer at her school
  • Helped her team win the 2014 Prep B Championship
  • Three-year all-county, all-conference and all-prep selection from 2011-13
 
Grace Carrington – Atlanta, Ga., F
  • Attended Marist School
  • Helped her team win the 4A State Championship in 2013 and 2014 and become 2015 4A State finalists
  • Notched a 19-1 record in her senior season
  • Was a 2015 Georgia Soccer U19 State Cup Finalist
  • Earned Coaches Award in 2013 and 2015
 
Carsen Cochran – Wyckoff, N.J., D
  • Attended Ramapo High School
  • Was a member of National Honor Society and World Languages
  • Born in Ridgewood, N.J.
  • Parents are Stephen and Michelle Cochran
  • Has three sisters
 
Nicole Gavin – Duxbury, Mass., M
  • Attended Duxbury High School
  • Was a two-time captain in her junior and senior seasons
  • Notched 29 goals and 31 assists, totaling 58 points in her freshman and sophomore seasons
  • Helped her team become league champions in 2013 and state quarterfinalists from 2011-2014
  • Earned all-state nods in her freshman and sophomore campaigns as well as being the league's leading scorer in those seasons
 
Dylan Holmes – Heathfield, Australia, M
  • Attended Scotch College, Adelaide
  • Was captain her senior year
  • Earned the FFSA Rising Star Award in 2014
  • Was the FFA NTC Challenge Player of the Tournament in 2014 and was a member of Australia U20 Squad (AFC Qualifiers) in 2014
  • Named Player's Player and Best and Fairest for the Fulham United Soccer Club
     
Natalie Kozlowski – Utica, N.Y., M/D
  • Attended Whitesboro High School
  • Was captain in her junior and senior seasons
  • Helped her team to Sectionals
  • Notched 25 goals and 26 assists over her career, nine goals and 14 assists coming in her senior year
  • Earned Tri-Valley League All-Star in 2013 and 2014 and Scholar Athlete from 2012-2014
     
Asia Lee-Fatt – Royal Palm Beach, Fla., F/D
  • Attended American Heritage High School
  • Helped her team win two state championships in 2012 and 2014
  • Was a member of Pre-Law Society and Florida Law Honors Society
  • Parents are Anthony Lee-Fatt and Paula Ramsay
  • Has three brothers and one sister

Martina Loncar – Brampton, Ont., M/F
  • Attended Cardinal Leger Secondary School
  • Was in the U17 and U20 Canadian National Team Pool
  • Also participated in cross country in high school
  • Parents are Damir and Gordana Loncar
  • Has two sisters
 
Jayne Maccio – Wilton, Conn., M
  • Attended Wilton High School
  • Was captain her junior and senior year
  • Named FCIAC Honorable Mention, XARA Coach's Award and Coach's Award, all in her sophomore year
  • Notched 21 goals and 13 assists in her freshman and sophomore years
  • Parents are Walter Maccio and Susan Stiehle
 
Shannon Pawlak – Cranbury, N.J., F
  • Attended Princeton High School
  • Was a captain in the 2014 and 2015 seasons
  • Helped her team become Group III Central NJ Champions in 2012 and Colonial Valley Division Champions from 2011-2013
  • NJ ODP First Pool Selection, ODP Region 1 Champion, Trentonian Player of the Year, Top 20 Players in Central NJ, NJGSCA All-State Selection, Trentonian First Team All-CVC and All-Area, Mercer "33" Member, NJ U18 State Champions with Futsal and U19 and Women's Open Northeast Region Champions with Futsal, all in 2013
  • In 2014, she was a Mercer "33" Member, one of the Top 20 Players in Central New Jersey, NJGSCA All-State Selection, Times of Trenton First Team All-Area, a member of Hibernians Elite 11 and NE Regional All-Tournament Team with Futsal

Allison Vickers – Williamstown, N.J., M
  • Attended The Pennington School
  • Helped her team become Prep A State Champions from 2011-13 and Mercer County Tournament Champions in 2011, 2012 and 2014
  • Notched 20 goals and 28 assists over her career, with five goals and 10 assists coming in her senior year
  • Earned Mercer 33 recipient in 2013 and 2014
  • Player in the 2014 NSCAA All-American Game, was named New Jersey First Team All-Prep in 2012, 2013 and 2014, while also earning the NSCAA High School Scholar All-American Award for the 2014-15 season.
