Field Hockey Welcomes Seven To Program

Five Freshmen; Two Transfers Set to Join Raiders for 2015 Season

HAMILTON – Colgate Field Hockey Head Coach Cathy Foto announced the addition of seven newcomers to the roster for the 2015 season. The new group joining the Raiders features five incoming freshmen from the Class of 2019 and two transfers.

The class of rookies represents three different states. Susan Morefield and Nicole Bodo hail from Pennsylvania, Rachel Hegarty comes in from New Jersey, and Stina Ladd will make her way west from Connecticut. Goalkeeper Jacqueline Li, meanwhile, will give the team an international flavor as she comes in from Vancouver, British Columbia. Kerry Glenday transfers after one season of lacrosse at Tampa and Lauren Miano will join the Raiders after playing one season of field hockey at Rider.

"We are excited to welcome the first year's to campus," said Foto. "They will be an exciting group to watch and we look forward to having them as part of the Colgate Field Hockey family.

"They have been leaders in their high school and club programs and they have excelled on the field and in the classroom."
