HAMILTON –
Behind a career-high performance from sophomore Jordan Robertson, Colgate easily handled Utica here Thursday night, 90-68.

The Raiders got back on the winning track after a hard-fought loss to Syracuse on Tuesday night.

Five student-athletes for the Maroon and White reached double-figures with Robertson's impressive night leading the way. The Cape May Court House, New Jersey, native went 8-for-16 from the floor, while his 4-of-7 night from long was a career-best. He closed out the contest with four rebounds.

Fellow classmate Jordan Swopshire added 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while Austin Tillotson notched 12 points and handed out two helpers. The two other Raider players in double-digits were Alex Ramon and Sean O'Brien with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

On the boards was first-year Malcolm Regisford, who pulled down nine rebounds while blocking a career-high five shots. He collected all his blocks in the opening period of play. 22190

Utica kept it close for the first five minutes until Colgate used a 13-3 run to break the game open at 24-11. After the Pioneers had pulled within 35-21, the Raiders increased their edge even more following another 16-2 run to close the half. The Raiders went into the break in front 51-23.

Midway through the second period, Colgate had extended its lead to a game-high 28 points for the fourth time. Unfortunately, the Raiders couldn't get past that as they saw their visitors rally to cut the lead down to 80-62 with less than three minutes to play. Six-straight points from Robertson, however, sealed the deal for Colgate and the Raiders' registered their third win of the season.

Colgate has a quick turnaround as it plays host to New Hampshire on Sunday as part of a doubleheader event with the women's team. The men kick off the day at noon, followed by the women's game against Gonzaga immediately after. Live stats and video are available at the start of both games.
