Senior Guard Scores 10 in 69-50 Loss at Binghamton; Raiders in action Saturday at TCU

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Austin Tillotson reached the 1,000-point mark for his collegiate career in Colgate's 69-50 loss at Binghamton here Tuesday night.

Tillotson led the Raiders with 10 points and was Colgate's only double-digit scorer.

The Raiders fell behind 8-0 and trailed 37-22 at halftime. Binghamton then began the second half with a 19-8 run that stretched the lead to its largest margin at 56-30 with 9:57 remaining.

Colgate from that point limited the Bearcats to just three points over the next eight minutes, but the Raiders never were able to get their offense on track. Colgate posted season-lows for points, field-goal percentage and 3-pointers made.

Alex Ramon and David Favorite scored nine points apiece for the Raiders, while David Krmpotich chipped in eight. Malcolm Regisford pulled down seven rebounds, while Tillotson pitched in with three steals. Sean O'Brien was the assist leader with three.

Straight From The Source
• Colgate head coach Matt Langel: (on his thoughts from the game) "We talk all the time about how hard it is to win in college basketball, especially on the road. Credit to Binghamton for being more ready to play, and unfortunately for us the better team tonight. We have a difficult schedule ahead of us, but most importantly for our young team will be to learn how hard we need to work on a daily basis in order to achieve our potential."
