BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate completed a 1-1 road trip with a 3-0 loss Saturday at Lehigh.
The host Mountain Hawks (11-8, 4-1) prevailed 25-23, 25-17 and 25-19 to hold on to second place in the Patriot League standings. Colgate, which defeated Navy, 3-2, Friday night in Annapolis, drops to 5-11 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
The Raiders posted a .184 hitting percentage (31K-10E-134TA) to Lehigh's .321 (54-11-134).
Kathleen Harris posted nine kills, two service aces and a .216 hitting percentage to pace Colgate.
Jaelah Hutchison added seven kills and
Katie Stansbury and
Amanda Smith four apiece for the Raiders.
Colgate returns to Hamilton for a big home weekend. The Raiders host American on Friday, Loyola on Saturday and Bucknell on Monday.

How It Happened- Lehigh battled back to take the first set, 25-23. Trailing for most of the opening frame, the Mountain Hawks trailed 22-20 late in the frame when an attack error by the Raiders ignited a 5-1 spurt that gave Lehigh the two-point win and a 1-0 lead.
- The Mountain Hawks cruised to a 25-17 triumph in the second set, breaking open the frame with a 13-1 spurt midway through the frame on its way to the eight-point victory.
- Lehigh carried its momentum into the third set, racing out to a quick 6-1 lead. Colgate battled back to pull within one, 7-6, but the Mountain Hawks capitalized on a 6-1 run moments later to regain their advantage. Lehigh led by as many as seven during the set as its tallied a 25-19 victory to complete the sweep.
Inside The Box Score- Colgate hit .205 in the first set which was their best of the match. They also recorded 11 kills during that set.
- Lehigh posted a team hitting percentage of .321 (54-11-134) for the match. The Mountain Hawks hit better than .240 in all three sets played.
