HAMILTON – The Colgate women's basketball team hosts its annual Pink Breast Cancer Awareness/National Girls and Women in Sports Day this Saturday when the Raiders take on Bucknell at 4 p.m. on Cotterell Court.

Play 4Kay Events for the day include raffles, in-game promotions and pay-what-you-want ice cream from Gilligan's, with all proceeds going to breast cancer research. Head coach Nicci Hays Fort also has committed to donating $1 per Colgate point and $100 per Colgate made 3-point shot to the Play 4Kay Foundation.

All kids and fans who wear pink get free admission to the game.

In addition to the Play 4Kay fundraiser, Colgate Athletics is celebrating National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Prior to the women's basketball game, there will be free open bowling in the Reid Athletic Center bowling alley beginning at 3 p.m. Following the game, the Colgate student-athletes are hosting a free all-sports clinic open to boys and girls of all ages. Fans can meet their favorite players and participate in various sport activities, including an ice skating session with the Colgate women's ice hockey team following their 3 p.m. game. The afternoon also includes Raider, free pizza, T-shirts and basketballs while supplies last.
