– Senior Eliana Brown scored twice to lead Colgate to a 3-0 victory over Holy Cross in Patriot League field hockey action Saturday at Tyler's Field
 
Serving as the conference opener for both programs, the Raiders used first half strikes from senior Brown and Jessica Gardiner to build a 2-0 advantage before Brown struck again in the final 10 minutes to put the game out of reach. Colgate senior keeper Amanda DiDomizio made the Raider margin last, recording nine saves for her first shutout of the season.

How It Happened
 - Senior Eilana Brown got the Raiders on the board early as she fired home a shot from 10 yards out on a penalty corner opportunity at the 2:40 mark for her third goal of the season. She was assisted by fellow seniors Jade Dennett and Rebecca Libutti.
- Junior Jessica Gardiner doubled the Raiders advantage to 2-0 in the 26th minute when she knocked home a rebound opportunity for her first goal of the campaign. Sophomore Whitney Jones picked up an assist on the play.
- Brown closed out the scoring at the 61:46 mark as she collected a loose ball in transition and beat the keeper for her second goal of the contest.

- Brown scored twice to increase her team-leading point total for the season to nine (4 G, 1 A). Brown also took over the team lead in goals.
- DiDomizio record her first shutout of the season and fourth of her career as she made nine saves during the contest.
